Even bloody then we've ended up with an even worse goal difference than them. A month ago we had a better GD than them

Last thing we need is opposition fans feeling sorry for us. Only reason they say that is because it would have made fck all difference if they weren't given.Quite a few Liverpool fans on Twitter admitting their pens were soft BTW. Dunno what’s that counts for..... feck all I suspect.
The fans won't be that stupid this time Kroenke either invest or sell the club to owner who caresThey will hide behind Emery as some people here are already doing.
His handling of the Özil and Ramsey contract situations definitely put Emery in a tough situation.
As someone who studies Finance it particularly triggers me we kept that money just sitting doing nothing. Even if we aren't big enough to retain our best players against interest of elite clubs, we could've made a significant amount of profit. Coutinho/ Suarez transfers brought in what about £200m for Liverpool to spend? We've got a huge sponsorship deal with Addidas kicking in shortly, we need to spend that additional income in advance and really invest in the squad.
I also don't understand why we have any cash reserves at all, every spare dollar we have in the bank is wasted. It should be reinvested in the first team and a revolving line of credit used to cover any shortfalls in Opex.
Good shout! Onwards and upwards!Whatever let's move on, someone make the Fulham thread.
At the time we had Wenger who was a massive draw and our style of play was also still fresh in many minds despite recent events. A new younger manager without Wenger's pulling power, little money and no stand out trait isn't going to cut it especially without CL football. Auba also wanted out. Any player in his position mow has at least five PL clubs better than ours to chose from.
Sarri wants ball playing defenders, Cahill isn't one. There’s a reason why Chelsea would loan us Cahill. Sarri doesn’t rate him as he’s ****.
They’ll be laughing when he ***** up and we miss out on CL football.

Nonsense. VVD was at Celtic for 2 years and Southampton for 3 years before Liverpool took the chance on him.
Emery has to find the right player and Kroenke needs to give him the money.
Emery wants any defenders, beggars can't be choosers.Emery wants ball playing defenders. Cahill isn’t one.
Except Özil has injuries issues.
I don't get the narrative about how Emery is freezing Özil out when he's started more game than Mkhi Iwobi & Ramsey.
How many games Özil hasn't played when he was available?
