it's been a while I've seen an Arsenal game but Almunia seems to be doing really well, yes?

I agree, after this and the game last Tuesday my confidence in him is growing. He wasnt really tested, although he made an excellent save with his leg in the 1st half and was there when called upon.

Almunia - 8: I'll admit, he is growing on me.

Eboue - 5: He did some dodgy stuff and got beaten by Bellamy a couple of times.
Silvestre - 2: His head shape is wrong.
Gallas - 6 : One of his better days to be honest.
Clichy 6 : Good. Probably deserved a higher rating but its what I expect from him I guess. I like him so much more now he crosses a lot less.

Walcott - 7: Thought he was our best player first half and a little confused when he was taken off.
Song - 6: Good enough
Fabregas - 6: Same as Song.
Nasri - 4: Marked out of the game, pretty poor to be honest. Offered nothing.

RvP - 5: Not feeling that partnership with Bendtner..
Bendtner - 6: Would have been lower but nice assist. Watching him trying to take on the defender and his gracious "acrobatics" were somewhat amusing. Extra point for the LOLS.

Subs -
Adebayor - 8: Done his thing. Nice to hear his song again.
Diaby - 6: Decent cameo.

Typical edgy encounter with West Ham. Tried to break on the counter and almost had success on a few occasions if it wasn't for the good defending and Almunia.

What about that pass from Parker was it? Split us right open. Not particularly feeling the Bendtner and Van Persie combo. Lacked movement and looked sooo sluggish in the final third. The runs and movement from Theo helped in my opinion, so imagine my confusion when Wenger took Walcott off.

Anyhoo, pleased with the result, and loving the clean sheet.

Almunia - 8 - At the top of his game
Eboue - 6 Did his job; Quiet and effective; no theatrics
Silvestre - 5.5 His 3rd complete game; Coming along
Gallas - 7 - Did just fine except for the nasty look aimed at Manny
Clichy - 5.5
Walcott - 6.5 Liked his directness, but so many players were out of sorts in the 1st half which didn't help him
Song - 6 - Some good tackles; still goes forward way too much
Fabregas - 5.5 Did okay with a few nifty passes; all in all he is not the player he can be
Nasri - 4 - Disappointing; he's no Hleb in tight spaces, but still...
Van Persie - 6.5 - Good game
Bendnter - 6.5 He and Nasri just couldn't hang onto the ball; his game really improved after Ade came on...Great awareness on the Ade goal...
Adebayor - 8 - Ade the super sub...Just what the team needed..
Diaby - I don't know

I didn't think Song was much better than Denilson's better performances, but he is a lot stronger than the Brazilian and if only for that reason we should probably keep him in the squad instead.

Also, credit to Gallas who put in a good shift I thought (bar gifting West Ham a silly corner which almost lead to a goal), and to Manny who is in the form of his career. Long may it continue.

Clichy 7: just because
Gallas 7: much better
Silvestre 5: meh
Eboue 5: ok-ish in defense (in first half) but crap in offense
Nasri 5: nice flicks here and there but overall bad
Fabregas 2: thanks for showing up
Song 7: good game i thought
Walcott 7: should've scored, but was really good in the first half of the first half. He got worse and was inconsistent overall
Bendtner 5 in first half, 8 in second
van Persie: see above

Adebayor 8: great sub
Diaby 6: nothing much was good to see him play again
Sagna 10: just because

Gallas was brilliant. The way he muscled Bellamy off the ball in the second half was quite simply awesome. Kept the back together and brought Silvestre back in line after it looked like he was going to have another mare with mistimed clearances.

MOTM for me. This was a tough game and he stood tall.

people get to hung up on rivalry, there is no reason why I (as a Liverpool fan) cannot give honest ratings......

I thought Gallas had a good game too, mentioned it in the match thread where some gooner was caling him **** and asking him to be subbed off.

There was one moment where Gallas conceded a corner and then stared at Manny for not coming to receive the ball...
