Most CB’s make a lot of errors in the modern game and are still considered top CB’s.

True, he always strikes me as a bit awkward in this Brighton system though. He’s improved a lot in possession in fairness to him so it’s to be admired how he’s worked on his game but he’s often guilty of being sloppy with his passing in a system that seems heavily reliant of being close to perfect in possession.

We can’t play like this mate, teams will never give us such space to work with. And if they do, you see results like PSV and Bournemouth .

The real challenge is, once we can play like this in spite of the dogged defending from opposition, we’ll have gone up a level again.

Liverpool really give loads of chances up, teams should punish them far more often.
