I didn't realise we are top for goals from corners since the start of last season. I laughed when the commentator said "we know Arsenal are potent from corners" because I thought we were bad at them!

I suppose we get a heck of a lot of them. I have a feeling the actual conversion rate isn't the best, though

We’re good at short corners, which you often forget were corners in the first place. Average at conventional ones, although obviously Deccers one at Utd springs to mind…

We used to be pretty bad at them but last season we were burying corners left and right, we have a corner specialist at the club now and it shows. We won the game against United and Everton due to corners, so its carrying on this season as well.

For a team like Arsenal who get tons of corners it makes a lot of sense to take them seriously.

There’s an example of a defensive deliberate action in this video where the referee allows play to continue. Shows that it just depends on which side of the bed the ref got out of unless there’s a been a clear change in ruling for this very matter. I assume that was the relevance to posting this in the Everton thread

Sensational is a stretch but his kicking is clearly better than Ramsdale's and unlike when Aaron plays, there was not even a whiff of a nervy moment playing the ball out from the back. He's definitely on a different level with the ball at feet and the few instances he needed to claim the ball high in the box he did so without error, something which isn't a strength of Ramsdale's.

I'll give him credit for being capable of pulling off some saves he has no business making. The problem is that he lets goals in that he should have no issue keeping out. Give me the guy who does the basics flawlessly over the guy who struggles with them but can pull off something that looks nice on camera.

Exactly my thoughts when I saw that off-side/non-offside. Maybe the rule has changed.
