Our assists today were both great and vital (they really made the goals). We should actually count an assist for Fabregas, but oh, well.
Don't have any problem with Fabregas' attitude.
Gael clichy is one of the most perfect options for an Arsenal left back. Many of those who dwell on his short comings do not appreciate his assets and contribution reasonably. He does make judgement hard, as when he's off form (as in returning from a long injury), he leaves a strong impression of somebody not related to the sport. But some people are like that, and when Clichy is at home with himself and the game, He's fast, athletic, quick in reaction, fighting, confident in possession, and a great (and frequently used) fast channel on the left. So yeah, he's not a great contribution in the final third, and he does a Srna once in a while too, just to recall old fears about him. See cashly today? that doesn't mean he's not good.
This one is a bit of a light weight claim, but I got the feeling that Jack's form has much to do with unsettled stuff in the Fab-Jack-Song trio. Cesc today in D, or coming from deep, then sometimes second striker (or close), Song -sometimes you wish he was somewhere else, but it's not clear if he is supposed to. Also all 3 are not in top form, which must effect the trust, chemistry and decisions. In short, this must be a bit of a burden on Jack, which we all saw do world class when cesc was gone. I actually think it's an optimistic point.
There could always be a calamity scenario. This one in particular is a bit of building your home in the ring of fire. But there's a time when a question is answered, and you know you reasonably need to follow the answer. The easy heart does so willingly, but it should not be considered hasty (or plain stupid). Time to say: we've got a keeper. (I would probably not regret this with the inevitable blunder, unless off course it's of flappical proportions).
At some point I will have to make peace with that psycho who actually believed in him, and consequently lost some of the complete trust. But not just yet.
