He needs to get us a Walmart deal, 100M a season. What’s he waiting for ffs?!

Shame they’re not European as it could actually be justifiable.
that's the problem - not much point advertising a brand not sold in the UK

Surprisingly enough, Walmart is one of the largest retailers in the world that has zero presence in sports from a marketing & partnerships perspective despite selling sports goods etc.

Another thing why I don't think they'd touch these type of partnerships is firstly the ROI and secondly, they see themselves now more of a supply chain and e-commerce company as they just unveiled Walmart+ which is a service aimed to take on Amazon and prime. Kudos to Walmart and the team, one of the few companies in the world that can truly ever compete with an Amazon.

Would be nice for Arsenal though ffs.

Walmart ****s on Amazon all day. Even Target is doing very well to remain competitive but it’s not recession proof unlike the other 2

Kroenke is the ***** in his marriage. I would like to see him beg his wife for the wal-mart deal.
An Arsenal deal with Wal-Mart would heavily benefit Arsenal and really do not much for Wal-Mart.

If Kroenke wasn't a **** though, he'd force his wife into signing tbf.

Kroenkes wife isn’t the majority share holder of Walmart or is she ??
She is not, the company is broken up with roughly just above 50% between insider ownership which she is apart of, 30%+ of institutional ownership (Vanguard etc.). Only one of the Walton's is apart of the executive committee, the rest are merely shareholders so she really has zero power on the operating business.

Asda is a subsidiary of Walmart. Asda tried to takeover Sainsbury's last year but it was blocked by some government authority.

Arsenal Quotes

An Arsenal fan, when you finish fourth, will say, “Hey, we’ve been in the top four for twenty years. We want to win the league!”. They don’t care that Manchester City or Chelsea have spent 300 or 400 million euros. They just want to beat them.
But if you finish fifteenth two years running, they will be happy if you finish fourth after that.
