Manolas or Mustafi? Very hard choice, both of them are very excellent CB. One couldn't know which one is going to adapt and perform better. I'm very happy, we reinforce where we needed.

My sources are telling me we're after Mustafi

Dont think you could lose with either Manolas or Mustafi.

Little extra benefit with Mustafi he can speak German, English & Spanish so can communicate to every defender with ease... Providing Gabriel picked up some Spanish which he probably didn't.

Monales or mustafi? I prefer mustafi, he's calmer, more of a leader/organiser, he brings the qualities ve loved about mertesacker minus. The height and the slow legs, we need that type of player

Manolas is more action oriented defender, physically he's powerfull. But he's concentration levels aren't there yet and do make silly mistakes, he is amazing in man marking, but distribution is not the best.

Two good defenders, but mustafi suits our needs for now

Arsenal Quotes

In 1997/98 we became English champions as I had set myself three missions to carry out which I felt were essential. One: to have an impact on the result and the team's playing style. Two: to foster the player's individual development. Three: to strengthen the structure of the club and enhance its global influence.
