Such a neat little player. Fallen through the cracks due to injury but he's defo got something.
He'll start their next game presumably. Wonder if he'll play 8 or 6. Probably 8.
He is already allowed to take corners there, assist came from a corner.
Is someone like Mika Biereth not worth a shot in the first team as a striker at this stage? Considering we have basically nothing there other than Nketiah if Jesus gets injured.
What is the point of constantly sending him out on loan? He had a decent spell at Motherwell. He has some decent attributes and could potentially thrive in this team.
Arteta is genuinely such a horrid manager when it comes to giving young players a chance. He’d have a young Harry Kane playing in the reserves for the sake of it.
Hope our promising young players all just move on as soon as they can, there is basically no point whilst Lego is in charge.
It must be said that Biereth has had to deal with a ton of injuries since his 1st loan to Holland last year. This is his first proper run of first team football. I don't think there's a big problem with letting him cook for a bit on loan.Is someone like Mika Biereth not worth a shot in the first team as a striker at this stage? That proves my point tbh. It would have been quite easy for Sp**s to just sell him at that point. Sherwood saw something in him even when he wasn’t pulling up trees on his loan spells to give him a chance.Tbf 20 year old Harry Kane played at Norwich or Leicester.
Was watching this. Exciting forward but not ready IMO. I like his mentality in the final 3rd though and he does have a decent all-round game with a bit of pace and power. I can see Arteta liking him as he's got great attributes for a modern CF but it's also just as likely someone slaps somewhere between £10m-20m on the table and we take it.
Biereth scored again.

Dunno if he's quite as good a finisher but he isn't far off and he's got a real nose for opportunities when he's in those areas. If he can learn to time his movement well and build on his finishing repertoire, he's gonna be one hell of a dangerous striker. Really impressed by him, but you can tell he's raw for competitive football. These Conference games are a great little spot for him right now. Just need to see how he does in a competitive league, regardless of the quality level of the team. He also needs to stay fit as he's had injury troubles the last season and a half.Told he was the Danish Haaland @MutableEarth
