Hardly. He was much better than I expected him to be. He runs the line quite well but he looks so awkward on the ball and doesn't offer anything dynamic. He's a very average player who is lucky to be here.

I completely disagree. We must have been watching a different game. In poession, the way the over-hot crosses to perfection, fell over the top of the ball, and generally made it look like a much more difficult sport than it actually is... we haven’t had someone starting for us like that for at least a few months now, and it would be disappointing for it not to continue.

If he can handle Robben for one game in 2013 and Jordan Ibe for one game in 2019 then he will make it, and probably over-take Cafe and Lahn as the greatest right-backs of all time.

We just need to make sure real hardman - our Bosnian Nightmare - is on the pitch. No f**king about.
Oh, and make sure Lichtsteiner is on the bench to reinforce the troops while warming up.

The fact that the Manager & the new influx of players know what this fixture means, as evidenced by our past league game against them, reinforces my belief they will be well up for the battle tomorrow.

Seems as though apart from the 3 big injuries, we have everyone fit and available. Great news and I seriously think we could do them.

Rumours out there that Alli and Dier might be back for this. Vertonghen is 50/50 as well.

Hm in recent seasons every time it was make or break we usually broke to pieces.

This squad is somewhat different ypu could feel a bit more injected drive from some of the lads and we are playing against the most bottle-prone team so I feel they will be much more nervous. Kos and Papa give me more confidence and there is some serious bully potential in this squad. I am nervous.

Edit: The high line vs Bornemouth was brutal. We must not let Bottleham exploit it in the same way.

Arsenal Quotes

When we won the title on May 3-rd by beating Everton 4-0 as Tony Adams scored that iconic goal, we showed everyone and especially Manchester United that we could beat them. Thirteen days later, when we beat Newcastle 2-0 in the FA Cup final in the legendary Wembley Stadium, it was wonderful... I felt immensely proud for the team, for the club: this was the fantastic response I was able to give to those who had put their confidence in me, as well as those who had put me through all those difficult weeks when I first arrived.
