Still don’t get why we signed this bum Cedric on a 4 year contract ffs. Poverty player.
I think this was when AMN didn't want to stay so we signed him as back-up RB.

I think needing a cheap back-up player is the best time to use someone like Kia as your requirements aren't that strict. The only issue here is his four year contract but lets not assume he's going to see out the entire deal.

Do you remember amount of times Niles struggled as RB in back four? Specially last season.

Tbh. that was mainly under Emery. He looked totally nonchalant and without a care in the world.

The first 2 games under Arteta as the RB he was probably our best player. He was focused and disciplined.

In my view he has no issues playing as a RB in a back four as long as he's mentally there. Under Emery no one really cared that much while Arteta has changed that.

Bizarre isn’t it. The lads arsenal through and through ffs and one of the best footballers at the club. Why would you get rid? Also one of the only real athletes in the squad.
Hes one of the best footballers at the club at what position?
I personally dont want to sell him but if hes seen as the no.1 RB by Arteta then we should sell Bellerin or is he our backup LB and if he is then is AMN okay with that?

We've got to keep thia guy imo unless we get over 30 for him except Tottenham or one of our other rivals. He is a good player & he can play in numerous positions which will help. He may not be a starter but he's certainly worth keeping for another year or 2.

You see how great he was at the end of the season? He can learn to play fullback. Today most fullbacks aren’t specialists, they’ve come from other positions.

He doesn't want to be a full-back though, that's our issue, he'd make a fantastic one.

League is very weak
People say he can’t play in a 4 bla bla bla, but nearly all fullbacks move from other positions and learn the fullback role. It’s one of the easiest roles to learn and play.

I’ll never accept signing old rubbish, just for favours, but selling good young players. He hasn’t even asked to leave. He’s quality.

Has he said that? I know he said he’s a CM but all footballers play out of position.

He’s playing fullback at Wolves. He’s not playing CM there, they have one or two of the best players in the league in CM.

Solid back up. Smart signing. 4 years is too long , but Kia will be trying to move him on before the 4 years anyway!
He couldn’t get into the inter side on loan, and hasn’t been a starter for Southampton since he’s come back. He’s average at best.

Worried about you.

A lot of players struggled under Unai’s crap tactics . Remember Ainsley getting a few harsh red cards also. The talent has always been there regardless.

I honestly would rather have promoted one of the kids from the academy than signing someone mediocre like Cedric on a 4 yr contract. Hopefully Kia can shift him next summer.

Nobody linked with him is going to trust him in midfield. This is a non starter especially if the Arteta's got a bigger say.

Not sure where this bs originated from but it’s clearly false. He was great in a back 4 under Arteta until he got dropped for disciplinary reasons or whatever it was. Bellerín is levels below him in the inverted RB role Arteta has been using them in.

Wolves also have Morgan Gibbs-White coming up through the ranks in midfield, who I think is a better midfielder than AMN...

I swear teams look at him as a RB

Arsenal Quotes

There is no chance of Sol ever leaving for Arsenal. He is a Spurs fan and there is not a hope in hell of him playing in an Arsenal shirt.
