The only bad news, Wenger won't buy now..:(

I had the same thought.

Wasn't there ever only a 0.1% chance of him buying someone who wasn't 15 anyway?

Yep. He played for the U16s yesterday or the day before.

Anyway, Robin coming back will feel like a new signing (which will have cost us about 1m in medical bills and wasted wages).

well, we did sign him, and did pay money for him, so I would assume we would have to consider him a "signing".. wasnt it something like £200,000 or something?

Well yeah, but I didn't put 2008 on there because the window hasn't shut yet.

s**t, Bertie's coming on

That was a bit harsh.

If you want to protect a lead I couldnt think of a better player to do such a job. Unnecessary criticsm tbh

Why? I wanted us to try and grab some more goals to cut down the goal difference and Gilberto was hardly gonna help do that. Plus we were 3-0 up, hardly needed to protect that lead.

He's quoting arsenal_hleb's post for obvious reasons.

first chance I got to actually watch the full match.. i am only through with the first half.. we held them pretty well until about the 35th minute.. from then until the end of the half, we MASSACRED them.. we pressured them everywhere and when we did let something thru, Matty was there to bail us out..

about to watch the second half... will post more on this once I watch it... but from the looks of the first half, we played pretty darn well overall, especially in the last 10-15 mins of the half... we were everywhere...

well, i thought i would throw my 2 cents in once i watched.. i made the mention in the ratings thread i would rate anyone until i watched the game...

and to be fair, we didnt play ALL that well in the second half of this game... we just took our chances well

Arsenal Quotes

An Arsenal fan, when you finish fourth, will say, “Hey, we’ve been in the top four for twenty years. We want to win the league!”. They don’t care that Manchester City or Chelsea have spent 300 or 400 million euros. They just want to beat them.
But if you finish fifteenth two years running, they will be happy if you finish fourth after that.
