That was a bit harsh.

If you want to protect a lead I couldnt think of a better player to do such a job. Unnecessary criticsm tbh

Why? I wanted us to try and grab some more goals to cut down the goal difference and Gilberto was hardly gonna help do that. Plus we were 3-0 up, hardly needed to protect that lead.

I suppose Wenger was just trying to keep him happy by giving him some playing time,

I don't think its got to the point yet where we have to curse everytime he comes onto the field
