gilberto made two incredible runs today and both produced goals. with vieira looking like he is going, maybe he will get to do that more often this season.

One can only hope. Gilberto really is incredibly quick; towards the end of last season I remember Henry burst out of his own box with the ball from a corner blisteringly quickly... it took me a few seconds to realise it was actually Gilberto. He absolutely bombed down the middle to get onto the end of Reyes's slide ball today.

yeah his pass today to set reyes goal was purely intentional, u can see in the midle of tumbling down he still has instinct to create an assist..pure class of the brazilian.. 8)

Cesc - Everyone needs to calm down about this kid. Yes, he's talented, but there's no way he getting any EPL starts this year. Good on the ball, energetic, a few bad passes but not too many. He looked like a boy among men though, just too damn small. Worked hard but not that effective at winning the ball. Missed a lot of tackles without even really disturbing the ball carrier. Needs time and needs to grow.

I forgot to mention Clichy. I love that kid. He's so fast and plays with such confidence. I didn't think he could play in midfield, but I think he really could fill in well there. What a find by Wenger.
