Why did we even send him there in the first place? Playing time is the most essential variable to look at in a loan, we just seem to want to send a player to a club that makes him happy.

Waste of time.
We became victims of power points presentations two times in a row now. We should know better by now:lol:

I think Eddie already knows that - otherwise he'd have chosen Bristol City IMO. That said, we do still have to decide what's better for his career with us in the long term - staying at Leeds and fighting for scraps, or going to Bristol City and getting far more in-game experience than he's currently getting. It's the same league, just more game time - which ultimately is the main thing he lacks, not ability.

Yeah Bristol City would be a good move for him. Lee Johnson is a decent manager too.

Nketiah playing right now as a starter. It seems that poor Gibbs is still struggling with injuries, just got subbed after 20 mins.

Maybe

You're wrong, no?
It's not, Bamford is much better for Leeds.
Without a doubt. Don't understand why is everyone so eager to send our young players to Championship where flair, creativity and technique are only some strange words. The league is built for bodybuilders and grunt workers which Nketiah surely isn't and Bamford is.
There are different leagues in Europe which are more suitable for our young players to develop.

Didn't look arsed which I didn't like but it's clear now that he's a bad fit for them, the service into him was more geared to a target man for sure. Nketiah's link-up is decent but perhaps needs work at a higher level. He's a capable dribbler but maybe needs better back-to-goal play in case he needs it.

That said, he needs to go somewhere he will play often. This was only his 2nd start in the league and I suspect he was given that start because he's going.

Leeds’ fans aren’t that bothered.

Need to find him a loan where he’ll actually be used now.

Nketiah should be going to Germany or Italy where poachers are thriving, he is just going to stumble his development by choosing another Championship team. He has some decent qualities but still needs a long way to develop into a EPL striker...

Championship is literally the worst place to be a young, fragile striker. Down there its all about brute strength, work-rate etc... Technique goes out the window, its all about the grind.

Arsenal Quotes

I knew we were very different, that he (Ferguson) had a total hold over his club while at that time I was still more of a coach. I also recognised his huge qualities. He knew how to surround himself with the right people and didn't rest on his laurels when he was successful.
