Im convinced now, Leno cant come straight back in. Its unfortunate but any player who is competitive and hard working will understand that decision and focus on breaking back into the main eleven.

Emi deserves to stay #1. Think he’s shown enough to get #1 at an other club. There was that save on Mahrez’s shot who faked going far post and shot it near post, would have caught out most keepers, not Emi tho. Strong hand on it. Impressive.

I don’t think Leno has ever been this good. Let’s see how long he can keep it up but Leno is not just walking back into the team that’s for sure

Choosing between him and Leno is genuinely impossible.

Matt Macey should get a go to see if he’s any good.

Sell Leno to Bayern Munich, buy Meslier once his Leeds loan is over and keep the conveyor belt going.

That save from Mahrez at the near post was brilliant.

Got me thinking...remember when we signed Cech, when we played Chelsea for the first time, all their players were having low shots to his near post all the time...remember thinking, "That could be an issue"

The sheer time he has waited to get this chance, how can you not love Emi.

Actually proud of him, he’s had some awful loan experiences and once he had a proper chance at Reading he made the best of a bad situation and hasn’t looked back since.

Like to think that this is only the beginning, can see him starting for the National Team before long and hopefully starting on our climb back up to relevancy.

You legit cannot drop him at this point. Clean sheets against Wolves and City in tough games with a lot of pressure. The confidence he brings to the lads because of his presence is evident, just a rock back there.

I honestly do not see a difference from Emi and keepers like Alisson and Ederson apart from experience. Obviously need to see this consistency hold up, but he's in some form. Apart from that miss kick against Liverpool, he hasn't put a foot wrong in over a month.

That's, like, your opinion, man.

The door is wide open for him in Argentina's NT and they haven't had a good goalkeeper in a generation.

This is weird?

Any instances of a deputy having a great run and eventually just becoming the starter? Think this happened with Nick Pope right?

I'm still waiting for the mistake because this is weird to me, he's been here ten years but seems to be good at everything? wtf?

The thing he looks so assured with everything that he's doing. Never a shaky moment as he has supreme confidence in his own ability....His handling is probably his best attribute as he doesn't just stop shots, he usually holds onto them. & that's beside his brilliant shot stopping ability
If he keeps this up he won't just be our number 1 but will be one of the best in the world tbh

Arsenal Quotes

When you start supporting a football club, you don’t support it because of the trophies, or a player, or history, you support it because you found yourself somewhere there; found a place where you belong.
