Only Juventus can pass us if they win against MLS all stars. If they win on penalties we’ll be tied on points but we’d have the better GD.

pluses: Özil was very influential when he got into central spaces. guendouzi looks extremely promising. cech had a very good performance.

minuses: both fullbacks looked very uncomfortable when chelsea pressed us. our high line got destroyed several times by lofted through balls. lacked pace out wide, making our attack relatively one-dimensional.

but maybe some rest is what he actually needs
He had a decent vacation since he didn't make the Spain squad. What he actually needs is to be sold, because he's not going to get any better and just doesn't have the skill set to play the fullback that bombs forward.
He also still doesn't know how to cross and 9/10 times will play the ball back instead of taking someone on.

His back passing actually made me physically sick at one point.
He's becoming the Elneny of fullbacks.

The good stuff:

We won.

Guendouzi. Yes, he lost the ball a couple of times but i feel very encouraged.

Smith Rowe. Very bright.

Cech. Really good today.

The bad stuff:

Bellerins first half. What the fvck was he doing?

Our lack of sharpness. We should have scored more goals.

Our "defending" against Rudiger on a couple of corners. Made me angry ffs.

After all these years of the club apparently hoarding money, we're now in a position where we spend less than West Ham in a transfer window, what a joke.

Think we're actually 3rd atm with 6 points...

Only 2 points awarded for a win on Penalties...

"Scoring system will be as follows: 3 points for a win, 2 points for a Penalty Kick Win, 1 point for a Penalty Kick Loss and 0 points for a loss."

Arsenal Quotes

It is well known the referees are protected very well like the lions in the zoo so we have to live with their decisions
