I love the way you use the word "argue"? Who's arguing?

All this coming from the guy who likes to everyone a "c**t" because they don't agree with his opinions.

And you think i need to grow up?

No i call people ****s for not having a counter to what i say and instead try and point out things instead of giving an alternate view.

For example your sarcastic comment on fabregas instead of giving a reason. And also at the start when i pointed out we wont do anything unless we concede or its the last 20 mins, funnily enough both happened.

You like others here are scared to have an opinion, guys like myself, kel and sabre (though i dont agree with them a lot) have the balls to have an opinion instead of replying with sarcastic or childish comments like, well your not the manager and blindly saying Arsène is right, or the club is right.

You try and make my opinions seem wrong, yet my thoughts on A) having no money to buy is true, B) we will sell to Kroenke eventually is true, C)we look too weak to win the title is seeming to look true. D) my thoughts that we would spank porto was true, E) my thoughts on how todays game would pan out was very true. F) Gallas not being to blame for every goal like everyone else seems to think is true.

The only thing you guys are right about is that i do swear a lot, well boo ****ing hoo, its the internet, get over it. Dont act like your offended cause half of you are probably wacking off to porn while typing here, maybe it explains why you dont have time to forge an opinion.

I was one of the first "favoured" members on here, so shut your traps cause its guys like me and some of the originals that moved from arsenal.com to help make this forum big.

Im going out now, you know socialise, dont know if you lot do that or not.

Two wondergoals in the space of a week are things seem worse than they are. Yes we haven't been great, but lady luck has deserted us at the same time. Here's hoping we don't have our customary November as well...

It was a freak goal. The cnut was under pressure and off-balance and just took a blind swipe. 9 times out of 10 that's row z material, but no, in it goes off the ****ing underside of the crossbar. You couldn't make it up... fcuk

Right, but if people are going to say that we gave Hull too much time and space on the ball for their wonder goal from further out, then what was this? I swear we might as well bring a red-carpet to match days.

Damnit, why do Toure/Song/Ade/Sagna always do the hands up "I'm innocent" act?? The ref still usually gives the fouls anyway, Babel incident springs to mind. If we foul them, the least we can do is foul them right, knock them the **** out, but not red card level. THEN it's time for the hands up innocent act.

Couldn't watch the match as it's not shown in my part of the world and also didn't want to bother looking for a link.

I'm just hugely relieved that we got the equalizer. Better 1 point than 0 in the end. Of course it's not a suprise result anymore considering what happened with Hull.

As of now, I'm keeping my expectations way low and hope for the best for every match.

Agreed - we don't challenge in the air & all we try to do is jockey them around on the ground - no f*cking committment to anything anywhere on the bloody pitch!!!! :x

We where woeful in attack today. The whole team. No creativity, no cutting edge, no spark whatsoever, no nothing. We look lost out on the pitch. Too many of our players aren't up for it, and by this I mean aren't good enough, this was clear to me from day 1.

Wenger got it all wrong today, the players, the formation and leaving the substitutions till late, when the team obviously was in need of something different. Our central midfield trio was awful, song was ****, Denilson was hardly any better and Cesc, despite being one of 'better' players today, was having another off day. Walcott was ****ing useless, Ade was **** and Robin hardly did any better. Sagna is too one-dimensional, completely useless in attack today, cross, cross and cross, same old story.

Bendtner and Nasri should have come on earlier and they both should be starting games, not coming on as late subs.

Yeah - it said 433 on the graphic in the team lineups, and it seemed to me that both RVP & Theo were keeping a higher line in advance of the 3 man midfield, as opposed to starting outside them in a 5 man midfield.
4231

I don't think we meant to go out with 4231, but we played that way when we pushed up - at least that's what I'm hoping it was because it was tripe, but IMO it's as much to do with us compressing up in attack & giving ourselves no space as anything - I think the 433 / 4231 formations can work but we just don't know how do to do with our current possession based passing.

Today we were definitely playing more of a 4-2-3-1. Fabregas was playing in exactly the manner an attacking midfielder does in that formation, whilst Denilson and Song were clearly detailed with holding the midfield.

But today's system was very different from the one we have been previously employing this season, I hope hackajack can see that now.

Fabregas was playing a completely different role to that which van Persie plays in the hole, and neither Song nor Denilson got forward in a similar vein to that which Fabregas does when he is in the centre of our usual 4-4-2 formation.

In fact changing to a 4-2-3-1 was exactly why we were so ineffective. Fabregas was closed out of the game in that attacking midfield role and never saw the ball in the sort of space he does at central midfield. van Persie was wasted on the left of that midfield and Adebayor was far too isolated, Cesc won't support him because he's not used to that position. Denilson and Song saw far too much of the ball in positions where Cesc would usually be dictating the play. That meant we had no creativity from the centre of midfield.

Although we had chances to win the game today, because we're simply better than Sunderland, I believe it was the change in system that let us down and neutralised some of our best players. It was only when Nasri came on for Denilson, allowing Fabregas to drop back a little and create from midfield that we created real chances.

I hope Arsène doesn't use this system again, or at least doesn't use the same players in those positions again if he does. But, preferably, back to the old 4-4-2 next game please Arsène.

Cesc had a long year, no pre-season and is f*d, his personal performance has dipped and it's not surprising. It has nothing to do with Denilson, Song, Flamini or any other player except for the man himself.
Of course its affecting his game, don't be naive. How could playing in a midfield of a much lower level not affect Fabregas game?

It doesn't stop you sprinting, it doesn't make you incapable of putting in a tackle and it certainly doesn't make you pass the ball either into the back of the closest defender or straight to his feet.

That is his personal performance, if you want to talk about the midfield unit then you can.

Yeah just been talking about changing the player roles etc. As I said earlier I'm still hoping we ended up in the 4231 by default as opposed to actual intent - other wise AW's proving that 2 wrongs (formation & player role changes) don't make a right.

Why sprint if you know no one will spot out your run and/or deliver a good pass?

The incapability of our midfield, and I'm talking wingers too, is what frustrates Fabregas, and frustration is what makes Fabregas do,or not do, the things your talking about.

Because midfielders have to close the opposition.

Was that a serious question?

What game were you watching, Cesc closed down plenty of balls today, and he made numerous tackles, and put his foot in.

I don't mean the type of sprint that frees up space for your teammates, which I thought Fabregas did plenty of times today. I mean the sprints where your team mate should definitely look to pass the ball to you because your in a very good position. That happened a few times today, where Fabregas launched forward but didn't receive the ball, thats completely down to the inability of our players to spot out the run and deliver the pass. Surely that doesn't inspire Fabregas to go forward in search of the pass.
