Happy with that draw but we also can't take it for granted either as we never really showed anything in the Europa over the last however many seasons. I expect a battle between ourselves and Sevilla for top spot in the group.

Feel like any of Arsène's 1997-2005 sides would clean up in this era for the Champions League.

Our only competition would really be City.

Had two great matches with Sevilla in 07/08, PSV will always be remembered for Gilberto's quickest ever Champions League goal back in 2002...last time we played Lens competitively though was back in the Europa League (UEFA cup) when we beat them 3-1 in the semis in 2000.

Even from such a young age he was already such a well rounded forward...

We are in the best competitions, so we have a great opportunity to win something. It will be unnecessarily stressful if we only focus in beating MC in the PL, which is a huge mountain to climb. We probably have a better chance of getting to CL final.

Lets focus on playing great football consistently instead of being so tricky.

I don't think English sides, Arsenal included, were the best in 90s-2007. In that period you have 3 English finalists where the 2 winners somewhat fluked their wins. During that time frame Italian clubs reached the final 11 times and Spanish clubs 8 times.

I think we have a better shot at CL than winning the league. It is about how i see it. But honestly we could get lit up by Sociedad in a knockout tie as well. Cl is a more likely competition as the continental powers are much weaker than pre covid. PSG is very open they give up too many goals and I can’t see them winning it as the are young team now in need of experience

If we keep being defensive solid i can see us going far unfortunately arsenal this season make errors and against big teams we can't afford this so max we'll get is last 8 unless we get favorable draw no injuries and most importantly mikel and how he approaches knock out stages
