If he commits to fullback/wingback, he will be quality at Wolves.

Think this could really come back to haunt us, especially with the declining "Influencer" we have at right back...but if your last game at a club is playing brilliantly and winning a trophy, great way to go out...

Not sure about that, even if we do end up signing Partey, we’re left with Bellerin / Cedric for RB. That’s shocking.

If we sign a RB though, that could be great business.

Right back is definitely on the agenda for next summer, thats for sure. There's no way Bellerin is good enough for a top CL side.

Would love it if he goes to Wolves, plays week in week out at right back and proves he is top class, then we bring him back in a few years.

I would have expected this to be closer to £30m than £20m. It will be very dissapointing if we only get 20m for him.

I think it would be smart and ruthless to let him go for more money, but its sounding like Wolves are getting a very good deal here and I'm not happy about that. If he goes theres and succeeds it will leave a sour taste if we didnt get his market value for him.

Why are people sad?

He's a good player. This is the kind of ruthlessness we have to show if we need to start competing again. Some years ago fans were complaining that we didn't move our fringe players on. Now we're moving them on, same people are still complaining. AMN is good player and I'd capable of putting in good performances in a few games, but his consistency is questionable. I don't even think he'll be a starter for Wolves tbh. He has the physical profile our midfield lacks but I still think he's technically lacking. Clearly the coaching staff think so too.
I'm sad because he's a Hale End player I watched grow into the team and I always want to see them succeed at Arsenal.

That said, this is a logical sale - although I'd try and squeeze about 5m more out of Wolves, this makes sense. We shift a player who isn't considered a starter (unfortunately), Wolves gain a player on the verge of breakout, and AMN gets more opportunities for first team football and possibly in midfield aswell. For all parties, this isn't a bad deal by any means.

I'm still disappointed though, in an ideal world, he stays, but them's the breaks.

Bellerin is a very lucky boy, he really should be on the chopping block along with Guendouzi, Torreira and Lacazette.

Next season really is make or break for him now.

I think the fact Wolves are after him is good enough to keep him. They are better than us. They make better signings than us. We are missing out on home-grown talent before he enters his prime years.

why would we sign another RB though? No smart club is going to have 3 specialists RB in their first team. We have other more pressing needs like midfield in my opinion. We need two # 8s.

Arsenal Quotes

When we won the title on May 3-rd by beating Everton 4-0 as Tony Adams scored that iconic goal, we showed everyone and especially Manchester United that we could beat them. Thirteen days later, when we beat Newcastle 2-0 in the FA Cup final in the legendary Wembley Stadium, it was wonderful... I felt immensely proud for the team, for the club: this was the fantastic response I was able to give to those who had put their confidence in me, as well as those who had put me through all those difficult weeks when I first arrived.
