Vital to get an early goal. If we do I think we will give out our first thrashing of the season. If not I still think we will win.

if they play 10 men behind the ball, give the ball rosicky, let him fire one in, and then they'll need an equaliser and that's when the hammering begins

The '10 men behind the ball' thing is less of an issue than people make out tbh. We got in behind, and through the middle of Villa, City and Boro, and we'll do the same again.

With the confidence high now, and Rosicky and others looking so high, I expect a comfortable win.

2-0

I think that we should keep playing 4-5-1 no matter who we are playing , our midfielders seem to have a natural affinity toward that system. At least keep playing it until we are well and truly on a roll. Towards the 2nd half of the season we can become more and more expansive and start flying in the last quarter. Nothing wrong with starting slow and slowly working up.

Id be suprised if they play as negatively as Villa etc TBH. Yeah they know they cant open themselves up completely but they wont think they can come to Emirates and keep a clean sheet. They will try to get a goal and theyre just not good enough in defense to keep us at bay.

Our next 6 (!) games are against cannon fodder, and now is the time to start winning and winning big. If we can get a good streak going who knows where we'll end up.

Assuming Henry is fit:

Jens
Eboue Toure Djourou Gallas
Hleb Rosicky Gilberto Ljungberg
Adebayor Henry

I think it's time to give Cesc a well-deserved rest as he has played every minute of every game so far this season, and we can easily win this game without him. Adebayor obviously deserves to start the next few games.

Once Henry hits back into his old Godly self i really believe this 10 behind the ball thing will dissapear.

What Henry specialises at is breaking defences and punishing one mistake.

same here mate. Yellow quadrant block 30. See you there!

It is key for us to pick up a win at the weekend, how many times have had a good result and followed up on it?

Didn't we beat Europe's best in the CL and come home and loose. You could argue that the games we loose after a good result is normally after a good result in europe, against Man Utd we set up just as we did in the CL last season. So maybe our players are more adapt to such a formation, Rosicky,Hleb and Fabregas are top draw playmakers.Adebayor was FANTASTIC yesterday however if Henry started upfront just imagine with his pace and finishing ability added to the ability of our midfield trio to pick out a pass we would be deadly.

I'm off to this one, will be great to welcome the boys back after that performance yesterday. Magnifico!

I can't see us doing anything other than winning, I think it's time the wastefulness stops. Would like to see Baptista start up front with Thierry, if Thierry's fit. But given Ade's performance yesterday, it would be harsh in the extreme to leave him out.

its about time we steam rolled our way to victory in a game
i would agree with the 11 you have written including cesc being given a rest but i would hope baptista gets a bigger role maybe even start if henry and van persie arent fully fit
what is the news about van persie s injury ?

Wow, for scoring the one goal? Ade was not strong aganst Man Utd. He spurned a number of chances, and his one-on-one with Ferdinand was terrible. Apart from the goal, he looked like a man destined for being substituted.

Question:
I probably won't be able nor to watch the game nor the live score. So that thing over mobile phones from arsenal.com, that's only for UK? I'm on T.com(Croatia)

I don't think that's the case at all, he kept showing, he kept going and the goal was well deserved. Yes, we all know he didn't finish well in that 1 on 1, who has finished well in an Arsenal shirt this season?

Arsenal Quotes

I believe the target of anything in life should be to do it so well that it becomes an art.
When you read some books they are fantastic, the writer touches something in you that you know you would not have brought out of yourself. He makes you discover something interesting in your life.
If you are living like an animal, what is the point of living? What makes daily life interesting is that we try to transform it to something that is close to art. And football is like that.
