The link never made sense as we're more in need of someone who drifts more left because we've already got Pepe and Saka who are best at cutting in from the right onto their left foot. Whereas on the left we don't have that sort, Martinelli and Auba are both strikers basically and ESR is far more useful centrally.

also to me it's becoming more clear we want to trim the squad first before trying buying anyone the problem it's we already wasting time on it Guendouzi and Xhaka should been already gone.

The pressure is certainly on to deliver this window.....

I mean, the club has clearly briefed the press another "be excited" line, the manager included.

Don't know why the club sets itself up like that, specially given protests and the ESL stuff. People will want a sacrificial lamb if we don't get good enough targets.

Not even talking about big transfer, just good players like Buendía.

Swear to god if we sign Brandt or even Odergaard on loan without a purchase option...

The time to buy Buendia was last summer. We could have had him for less after they went down and we would have had him this past season too.
Now he's off to Aston Villa, but at least we still have last summer's smart signing Willian.

It's not end of the transfer and it's early no point losing sleep on it really but we need to be quick with our selling our squad is too big we going to lose alot targets by not selling guys that available to sold quickly

It's report as 35m though? And he was pretty good for them in the PL the season before.

Can get up to £40m with addons, plus there’s a sell-on clause.

£40m is a gamble the people running things aren’t going to take when their jobs are on the line.

This is Arsenal. We know how we operate and that's why people are feeling anxious about it.

We know how high the hill we have to climb is and how much work needs to get done.

The worst thing now is that we will spend the rest of the summer discussing if a loan deal for Ødegaard(who is really bad and doesn't suit PL) without an opinion to buy is a good deal for us.

Arsenal Quotes

I still have an interest in training and development, in the stages that make it possible for players first to acquire technique (between 7 and 12) and then to develop physically (between 12 and 16), then to deepen their mental resilience (between 17 and 19) and finally between 19 and 22 to acquire what is critical, like the roof of a house without which all the rest rots away: intelligence and motivation
