If 30m ÷ bonuses is close to getting it done, that looks like a decent start to buying business overall. Hopefully bonuses won't have to include anything silly such as a sell-on clause.

30m and Nelson to sweeten the deal. Wouldn't go to 40m for him though, can't be getting mugged off like that.

just pay them off and be done with it. make a statement to fans, media and the rest of PL that we mean business. Lots of value in signalling intent like that imo, especially with the trajectory we've been on the last few years

Exactly. Sick of it. 30m was never going to be enough. Just get on with it. Would be good if we got deals done early for a change. No reason this one can't be done early.

Don't think it will go that high unless there is a bidding war, but he's probably worth it. 15 goals and 16 assists (14 NPGs) is massive. Grealish got 6&7 in the Championship in 2018 by comparison (Buendia got 8 &12 that year as well).

Arsenal Quotes

When I am asked why I stayed at Arsenal so long.. my answer is simple; I never wanted to be anywhere else. I could have earned a lot more elsewhere, but that wouldn't compensate for all the good years at Highbury.
