He'll be off to the Copa soon so you'd think they would try to get a deal done before the second week of June, otherwise we could be looking at late July/early August.

How does that work with AFCON then because he’ll be already missing 4/5 months with COPA and now AFCON we all knows 8-9 months of PL football he’ll miss.

There's also the fact that they don't even know how the Copa will be, given current major unrest in Colombia. Just look at what happened at Galo's Libertadores game, players were affected by tear gas from around the ground.

They could host all the games just in Argentina, but Comebol is not really knows for competence.

Either way, his stock is high now, but mostly among EPL fans. He has a good Copa America and it just complicate things even more. Need to be proactive on this.

Buendia style remind alot of Cazorla he really so comfortable with tow feet. he can easily get out of pressure and very skillful really missing having a player in squad like Santi specially when we convert him to central mid.

What Vaccine rollout?

In all seriousness, Brazil is lagging behind and could've had a LOT of it's population vaccinated already, but that's a long story. Argentina has been unsing the Russian's Sputnik I think cases have risen in the last week or so, @MaraDon should be able to tell you more.

All I know is that River Plate had 20 players out with COVID, including 5 GKs, played a CM at GK and won 2-1

Chile I think is the country with the least troubles IIRC, started early and have done quite I think (hasn't checked on it in a while).

If I'm not mistaken, Ecuador has a negationist president (as we have in Brazil), Colombia is a mess politically due to tax reform (riots and whatnot), and smaller countries should be lagging behind as well.

The COVID bubble there will be a very lax one, I gather. Most players will just have to quarentene once they get back to wherever they live.

Same story every transfer window, but if a lot of activity is left to last moment I will be blaming Arteta for his PR work that would have just protected the Kroenke's, to detriment of the club and fans.

There's talk in the last hour that Argentina are going to be announced as the sole host in the coming days.

The biggest things in life have been achieved by people who, at the start, we would have judged crazy. And yet if they had not had these crazy ideas the world would have been more stupid.
